Hello!

My name is Eva Medley. I have loved photography and horses for a long time, and I’m very blessed that I am able to combine two of my favorite things! I take photographs of pretty much anything. Horses and nature photography are what I’m best at and enjoy the most, but I’ve also done people, people and horse portraits, and pictures of other kinds of animals. My family, and our horses, chickens, goat, and dog are great at posing, and I love taking pictures of them. I have been exposing my camera manually for a while now, and I am always learning something new about that! Some of my photographs have been lightly edited (cropping, color, etc.) but most are original. I like them to be as authentic as possible, with a variety of color and style. I try to have each of my photographs be characteristic of the subject.

What is a

Story?

A good story has interesting characters, a clear storyline, balance, and action. The same goes for a good photograph! The action can be as simple as a smile or as robust as a gallop. The characters relaxed, happy or excited, focused… And the storyline (the surroundings) should add to, or at least not contradict, the subject of the story (or photo).
