The Wade Saddle
I thought this article on the Wade saddle was really cool… https://www.cowboyshowcase.com/wade-saddle-history.html Tom Dorrance–along with his brother, Bill Dorrance, and Ray Hunt and Buck Brannaman–had a big part to play in the development of natural horsemanship and Vaquero horsemanship. Here’s a photo of Miriam in a lesson at Bellwether, riding in a Wade saddle.
Moonshine!
This October we bought a new horse! He is a 17-month-old Quarter Horse colt (gelded). He’s a very sweet horse, but needs to learn a lot about manners! He needs to be trained in pretty much everything… leading, backing up, picking up feet, groundwork manuevers, etc; and eventually riding. More later! Enjoy the pics!
Gianna & Sterling outtakes
Sterling was yawning like crazy, and I got some pretty funny shots!
